I have never had an 'okay' or 'bad' time at the Vans Warped Tour. Every year that I have been since I was 14 years old, has been AWESOME. From seeing some of my favorite bands play to crowds of hundreds of sweaty, stoked, and passionate fans, to meeting new friends and taking tons of pictures. Without Warped Tour, it just isn't summer.

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear “Warped Tour?”  

I just get really stoked because every past Warped Tour has been a blast. Music and photography are my two main passions in life, and being able to incorporate both at Warped Tour have made for some great memories.

What is your most memorable moment from going to a show?

I was a huge fan of punk music in high school, and one year the band The Unseen were on the lineup. The bands' singer Mark ended up getting me my first photo pass and I was so excited to not just go to Warped Tour, but bring my 35mm and shoot it! I thought that day couldn't get any more awesome, but I was also a huge fan of Avenged Sevenfold and they ended up doing a suprise performance at my date of Warped. On top of that, I was able to meet them when I got lost by catering. 

Suggestions on how to survive a day at The Warped Tour?

I've seen so many kids pass out! Drink LOTS of water. Bring a closed water bottle and keep reusing it throughout the day. 

A favorite band you’ve seen while at a show?

Uhhhh I can't think of anything else but this year, watching Taking Back Sunday!

Craziest thing you’ve seen while at the Warped Tour?

I was waiting to shoot Hello Goodbye in Pomona last year and the kid next to me passed out. So scary. Water and shade is key. Don't be that kid!

Any band’s your excited to see this year?

Taking Back Sunday! The Used! NFG! Also going to make sure I catch Funeral Party, Yellowcard and Breathe Carolina. Super stoked on this years' lineup.
